I have completed my mage suit, finally. Now the question is what do I do with my hands. Does one go with the scrappers for +25% SDI and a chaos shield, that is what I currently use. Or a boomstick ? Whats the best for a pure necro/mage caster.

This is my suit with the scrappers and shield, totem of void and quiver of infinity.

70/70/70/70/70 resists + 100% Lower Reagent cost + 40% Lower Mana cost + Faster casting 2, Faster cast Recovery 6

Additional Mods.

Mana regeneration 4
Hit Point Regeneration 2
Spell Damage increase 25%
Reflect Physical Damage 23%
Magery +7
Resist Spells +10
Meditation +13
Evaluate Intelligence +6
Fencing +3
Chivalry +3


Any input or do I have a good setup ??

You pick up the suit with them and pass it to me

Seriously though, that suit sounds top notch!

I'd go for the scrappers for the SDI or Clainin's Spellbook for the extra 3 MR. Probably the shield of invulnerability in the other hand.

I have friends that use a shield for some specials and some that don't so they can chug pots.

It doesn't sound like you NEED the boomstick for the LRC. If this is the case I'd go with a slayer spellbook or possably a scrappers or even a tome of lost knowledge.

Personally I keep a hand free to chug pots.
