No option...

We generally do the level 6's with only 2... one to decode/dig/heal and cast a little - and one to really fight.

depends on the level of the map.
Ideal size would always be one, logically.
I prefer bigger crowd just for fun.

Treasure maps are like joints. Where's the fun if you don't share?

Seriously my guys do them in 2 and 3's.

Shout out to Taylor for his post pointing me here. Thanks dude.

Two just didn't seem like much of a "team"

I would say between 3 and 4. 3 if you have a treasure hunter that is equipped to deal with the spawn afterwards (tamer/t-hunter?), and 4 if you have a dedicated treasure hunter with no real PvM skills.

I feel that the more is better for a treasure hunting team. Outside of your t-hunter, any extra hands to take out guardian ancient wyrms are good hands to have.

I've never felt "right" soloing t-maps as I've always considered it a group or guild activity. Plus it always offers more of a role-playing field if you're like me and you play a scaredy-cat treasure hunter who can dig but runs at the first sign of monsters :)

I role with three people.
MY character is a spellweving mage that spams hide and heal for the T-hunter and with gift of life I can always comeback and res the defeated groups cause those level 6s can be tricky.

Team is
-T-hunter
-Healer/Resser
-Tamer w/ Greater

I do not get this poll. You do not need a "team" to do treasure maps at all. T-Hunter plus disco tamer is all I use. I have my disco tamer sit back, T-Hunter digs up chest, invis's, runs out of harms way, re-invis's. I then proceed to lure monsters to my greater dragon one at a time if it's ancient wyrms or greater dragons. Hell, sometimes I'll tank 2-3 of them at a time.

Moral? Rephrase your poll. Maybe ask what is more fun to people and add TWO to the list. Because you do not need a team to do level 6's.

Just my .02.
