Question Regarding the Mouse Hole

Is there any way we can get an idea on the points needed to acquire the mouse hole reward that's to come out in Publish 53? There are lots of rewards that I would like, but I'd be kicking myself if I discovered, too late, that I was 1000 points shy of getting the mouse hole due to getting one too many shirts or something.

Ah ok, thanks. While we're getting an estimated point requirement for this one, can we get a list of what rewards will be in publish 53, because I don't want to waste my items on this turn in if theres something good in pub 53.

But just an idea. Like will the turn ins for the next rewards be different then these this time? Will these rewards still be available as well? So we can just hold onto all our tickets.Will those tickets be able to be used for the next rewards? Ya know something like that.
I don't think it is too much to ask.

The mouse hole text was probably already there. They were used when Sherry the Mouse arrived at Castle British nearly a year ago. Just because you see new text in the UO client does not mean it is being implemented. If it did, Doom would be a non-consentual PVP zone right now.

Seems to me that in pub53 the current rewards will still be availible, and they will just be adding in more, so I probably won't be turning in anything until after pub53.

I also think that it is not fair that they wont release info for all the items in both publishes. I agree that it would suck to turn in, get rewarded in the first and then be short in the second for something great.

I wonder how many months between 52 &amp; 53 as well?

For those of us who are having trouble focusing....

#1. We will be able to trade the same items for different items in the next publish. True or False?

#2. Draconi said the ophidian orders and snake skins will have "some use" in the following publish. This means don't trade them in publish 52. True or False?

#3. If you save your snake skins for publish 53, you may miss out on trading them in for a mouse statue (or whatever) altogether. True or False?


#4. More stable slots please and thank you.

#1 I don't think we know at this point.

#2 First part true; second part likely false since Draconi said those will be spawning again so you can always get more.

#3 Another one I don't think we have enough information to know.

#4 Absolutely!

And to the OP (what the heck are you doing up at two in the morning?!), I doubt Draconi is going to give out much information about publish 53 at this point. What he might be willing to do is clarify whether what is introduced with publish 52 continues to work once publish 53 is out or if publish 53 in any significant way alters what publish 52 does. If publish 52 continues to work without alteration you can just save up your stuff and wait to collect rewards once you know what new stuff comes with publish 53.

Well if you still believe devs when they release something and then say they will add more features to it in the next patch then sure save your points for the mouse hole but as far as I believe if they didnt implement it in this patch then it will show up as soon as the cocoa trees *lol* (tries to remember how many patchs back they were supposed to show up)

Draconi has said in a previous post..some of the turn ins for the second phase will be things like Demon Blood, etc...
he also mentioned that they will be turning off the turn ins and rewards at some point, so it is limited time, whether that means they will turn off the first set of turn ins/rewards when the second comes out...we dont know yet.
