Question regarding guilds and factions

I'm in a guild that is in factions. I want to resign from the guild but NOT from the faction. Is that possible without a bunch of issues? I also have factions armor and artifacts. If I do wind up having to quit the faction, will I lose them or will they remain mine if I rejoin within XX time of quitting? Thanks in advance for any help!

If you resign from the guild you will remain in the faction until you resign from the faction.

Thank you Vlaude. That is what I was hoping to hear. What about joining a non-faction guild while in a faction? Is that do-able?

those faction artys will allways be yours.
you just wont be able to use them unless you are IN factions.

so you will need to get rank again.

but those artys will still be yours to use whenever you get rank enough to use them again.
