Question regarding GameTime codes

Is it possible to buy a 1-month code and give it to a friend? Or are the codes account-bound??

The one time I purchased a 90-day code through the Origin Store - the code was e-mailed to me and I was able to forward it to a friend.

Since the change to EA store the codes are no longer applied directly to the account, but sent by email, so it will work.

Did it ever work like that? I remember seeing "buying gametime for gold" things years before the new store.

Not sure about the past, but at least since November 2011 and since you are directed to origin store, it works account unbound - love the pet bonding potion btw!

uogamecodes.com was at some time requiring to use an appropriate game account, and if the customer paid by credit card (which always failed for me, since the system did not like my CC) the GTC was applied directly to the UO account.

However I agree, I find it troublesome, that in the new EA store you still cannot buy 3, 4, 5 of the same item at once.

I've bought codes and given them as gifts for friends- Wonderful Christmas idea for your UO friends!!!!
