Question on the Casca Quest on Asian shards

Long story short I have a char on sakura that I will be xfering home to catskills and figured I may as well do the Casca quest there on all my chars and accounts befor leaving. I just tryed doing the quest and the passwords dont work? I'm thinking they need to be in Japaneese text? I'm thinking this because all the npc's like town cryers and quest givers talk in Japaneese text. So my real questing is does UO have some kind of built in language converter, or is there a windows language pack needed or what?

On the Asian shards where i trade, we run to the back of the ghoul room and Casca is there. No doors/passwords, but all my chars are newbs so the ghoulies kill them as they "one", "two", "lag, walk why don't you damnit!!!" through the room and collapse at Casca's feet with a groan. :blushing:

I made it alive to Casca on Formosa, died after I said help, but does not matter after that as the note is in your pack and bless.

I happen to like that there was no passwords, no doors, or heavy hitters to run thru.

Japanese shards have different two passwords(the first one to enter the undead room and the second one to exit the room; and not in Japanese, but in English) from other shards.

But you can see the hints on the same places.

I added the too young too die and ricard and can now get past the undead room but can only get halfway up that small set of steps and get kicked back into the undead room?

No my post above was just a typo. I just tryed again and my password macros are right.
with the too young to die and ricard passwords i can now get threw the door leaving the undead room but can only get half way up the steps and get kicked back to the middle of the undead room?

This post includes spoilers. Don't read this post if you won't be spoilered.

On Japanese shards, the first password to enter the undead room is "safety in numbers".

The second to exit: "too young to die".

The hints for these passwords are displayed on the same places as in America.

If you are a ghost, you will be pulled back.

The last two passwords are same as in America/or others.
