Question on shard shields

I thought I read the answer somewhere, but I can't find the thread.

If you put your shields in deed form, will they still accrue tokens or must they be locked down in your house?

Has someone experienced it first hand?

I know they must be locked down to remove tokens, but I want to know if I can put the deeds in a chest and only pull them out when I need to get one. I would like them to still gain tokens while in deed form. I'm really grateful to have these, but I really don't like having them up on my walls.

someone posted this a while back that you could.
i havnt tested it myself.

only way to know for sure would be to empty our shield then re-deed it and check it a month later.

Yes, as long you have initiated the first one it will generate tokens. They follow the acc age, and will give new token same day your acc get older. I did that just 2 weeks ago.
