question on blackthorn's dungeon

I am returning to the game after a year and a half from an accident and am loving the new changes in the game.I see that luck is playing a big factor now in loot drops. is that also the same for this dungeon?i have been down there for hours killing the golden elemental's,smelting the ore and have not recieved one minax arty yet. is it due to not having luck?

Its more of a combination of Luck, RL luck and the strenght of monsters. just keep killing.

Doing the Golden Elements is going to average an artifact about every 250 that you kill... slow process.

You also can work the invasion content in the north side of the dungeon for a greater drop rate. Also greater risk of losing, however. You can be rezzed right inside Blackthorn's castle by the turn-in dude.
