Question of the day: 1 June 2008

Todays question has to do with Andrew in Moonglow (For those of you who have no idea who he is, read this post by me.) Andrew of Moonglow and what Draconi has posted If you have not gone to see him yet and want to find out more about him on your own do not read my question of the day till after you see him.

The question today is how many of you have gone to Moonglow to see Andrew, and what choice did you make? Did you pick yes just to get the glass dagger? Have you considered the possible consequences by joining the Shadowlords? Do you think that this choice has anything to do with factions?

I know Vallend is to good to say yes to him, but I did have a ninja character that did say yes. I now wonder if he will be forced to fight for the Shadowlords in a factions war?

I did go out of the way with one of my two event characters (my weaver-mage)to visit Andrew just to say no.

I haven't visited Andrew with my other event character (my tamer).

I'm more or less curious to see what will happen from a no answer and what will happen from not having heard the question. I won't say yes to the Shadowlords with any of my characters, including the "evil" one. First, because the guild I'll be doing the event in (GRI) is definitely against the Shadowlords, and second because the destruction that the shadowlords promise doesn't fit with my characters and finally because my non good characters don't serve anybody.

I think the Shadowlords faction will gain some benifit in the near future that has to do with this event, but I couldn't say what it is. I don't think that the faction benifits will be the same as the agreeing to join the Shadowlords via Andrew benifit.

I took two characters over there to visit sir andrew.....

char one answered yes and yes came out emptyhanded AND dead.

Char 2 answered the same came out with the dagger.

only difference between the two chars. Char 1 did not fight in the rift, char 2 did all my fighting in the rift.

i said no on my main character, but yes on a few of my secondary chars, just for the glass dagger.

I have taken 6 characters to Andrew to claim the dagger, all are characters I don't intend to play. Until I know if I have to go threw to be flagged not loyal to the shadowlords also, I am holding off taking main characters through.

I traveled there undecided. As I listened to his words and considered how to respond, being driven nearly mad by the voices in my head, it made the choice easy. My glass dagger is ready and waiting to do my new masters' bidding.
