[Magery] Question for PvP mages (shame loot)

I don´t know much about PvP as a mage tbh.
But I am getting some drops in shame that seem to benefit this temp.

Please take a look at these:

Gnarled Staff
SC -1
MW -15
Fireball Charges: 150
MR 9
MI 10

and basically the same staff only with healing charges.

My question now is:
Would mages in PvP EVER use two handers or is it all about pots really?

If not:
If this was a one hander - no charges probably - and had DCI as well (not cursed of course), would this be any good?

I wouldn't use a 2 handed mage weapon, the staff of magi/ swords of pros were nice awhile ago because you would do 90 macing and have 120 weapon skill, with both specials. Now... yahh not so good, although the high mana regen is crazy.. I havn't played in awhile but it seems to me this shame loot is nutty. 9 mr is more then I have on most of my suits.. lol.

I personally have gotten away from the mage weapons, but if I were to use one it would be 1 handed, w/ DCI and a hit spell and/or g heal charges. G heal wands are just unfair. I prefer open hand w/ a shield because most dexxers now seem to disarm to start every fight, and the light's rampart is sick. That huge cold resist has made some awesome suits for me with 20 dci to boot.
