Question about your Combat skill vs Targets combat skill and what cancels it.

Say a person (mage) with 120 Wrestling or (GM Anatomy and 120 Eval) was carrying a bokuto on there paperdoll... Would a dexer that attacked that person would it be the Dexers combat skill vs that persons 120 in wrestling (or gm anatomy and 120 eval) or would carrying the bokuto temporarily cancel out his 120 in wrestling/combat skill while carrying the bokuto? Because I thought it was your combat skill vs the targets combat skill but I dont know if you have to be holding the correct weapon or not.


Would the person holding the bokuto get hit more then if say they took off the bokuto, or would it be equal since they have 120 wrestling holding the bokuto.

The character with the Bokuto would be checked against his Swordsmanship skill, not Wrestling or Defensive Wrestling.

You need to have the corresponding weapon equipped (or not equipped in the case of Wrestling) to attack/defend with the skill.
