Sorry if this has been asked but after doing a search I have had zero luck
Does wither reveal hidden players?

If the spell damages another player (say, you're a red, you cast whither, and the AOE affects a hidden blue), then it will likely reveal them. If the spell doesn't affect the other player, I can't think of any reason why it should reveal them.

If the caster is the one hidden, the caster will become visible as soon as he/she casts the spell.

I am almost certain that at 1 point it did reveal hidden players but was changed
I just can't seem to find any documentation saying it was changed

It should though.

Thunderstorm works, Wild fire. Not sure about essence of wind or Myst spells. Mmm. I think we need a list of area effect spells that reveal hidden chars.
