Question about the Doom Artifact point system.

If I kill a bunch of bosses and leave Doom before I get an artifact drop, do my points reset to zero or are they the same when I return to Doom?

You will keep accumulating points until you get a drop, leaving should not make reset them.

You know I wish there was a way to track my points, I feel as if I have gone around 100 times lol. Well once imbuing is out I won't have to waste my life in there anymore.
