Question about the Brit Deco contest

Are you allowed to send more than one image? A single 800x600 image can't show all of the inside and outside of the building without rendering it impossible to decipher (I know... i've tried). And is using 600x800 so we don't have to turn the pictures sideways fine?

Also, whose idea was it to make us use .jpg? I can understand wanting to keep filesizes down, but as a pixel artist I take being forced to use that format as an insult. Besides, it isn't suited to anything dealing with pixels anyway.

I don't care about using .jpg - but the 800 x 600 doesn't make sense. I thought we could decorate *around* the bank as well - 800 x 600 doesn't even cover all the outside of the bank at actual size =/ (even if we turn it to 600 x 800)

I didn't even notice tha restriction til now =P I've gone and done a huge base image to work on, including all the space around the bank as well. Hrmpfh!

Well, I'm just gonna decorate it in my big size, then if we really DO have to, I'll shrink the entire image down to 70% of original or something =P

Bump in the hopes a random dev-type person is hanging around looking at stuff even tho they're supposed to be on break so I can get an answer or at least a "i'll ask em when everyone gets back".

I'd love to work on the contest but I'm not very computer litterate..... I can deco circles around folk in-game but to do it out of game with nothing but my pic program I'm pretty sure I can't really do that...... at least it wouldn't come out well.

Go ahead and use larger sizes and formats as necessary. If the file is too large to send in email, try hosting it on Photobucket or another service and send us a link.
