Question about someone using tracking on me.

I was in fel despise. The champ had been finished but all the gold was left on the ground. With the new gold weight I got 40k when a red showed up. I dash into ostard form and run off his screen and hide and stealth to a corner. The dude follows me right to the corner and starts casting poison fields on me. I think he gets luck and run to the first floor of the dungeon. Hide, and stealth away again. The dude follows right to where I am and poison fields where I am. This time I just run and leave the dungeon and recall away.

Is this guy using tracking? I have gm hiding and legendary stealth.

It's possible. However sometimes I am seriously wondering if they really do have the tracking skill or are running a program.

If your on ATL its possible that someone was just coming in to check it out. I know that sometimes guilds will send anti stealthers into spawns They work kind of like a detective. One on ATL that I actually do respect and will not stay ANYWHERE near is Holder Pal. Luckily i havnt seen him around lately.

If they send an anti stealther in its probably a guy with tracking probably more of a faction player. Or you may have just been the victim of a curious human using JOAT.

Dang if JOAT (20 tracking) really finds me (100 hiding and 120 stealth), then the devs need to change that. Though they won't....... passive detect hidden by elves is bull....unless its changed in the past few months. Haven't really run across any elves.

heh- come to siege. No passive detect!
Siege is both harder, in many ways, and also easier, in many ways, then other shards.

I had the same thing happen to me on Atlantic...is there anything that can be done that will break the track?? Will just a great distance break the track, crossing a server line, etc. ? Just curious.

This one has read that wraith form may not be tracked, though that resets upon server line.
Also, are not elves harder to track? Perhaps try shadow jump, and then stealth quickly. If you get far enough away, don't they lose the smell?

I've tracked someone who started at the castle in Brit, to the bridge on the other side of the bank. I am not sure if it would go further but thats the distance that i held the track. Really, if you want to break the track all i've found is recall. I am still around 50 track too, so i'd imagine gm is either pointless or REALLY sick.

I track wraiths regularly. I like to keep an eye on whos running around when i make my steals.
