Question about Sandals

A friend of mine was telling me they heard somewhere that Sandals effect Mana Regen in some way and I was wondering is this true?

That's really, really old information. Pre AoS most mages went barefoot or in sandals because boots slowed mana regen. That is no longer the case.

Not true.
Sandals are simply footwear. They have the same effect as cloth shirts and pants, which is nothing but looks. Unless of course these clothing items have properties, but even then they do not effect mana regen.

Thanks just wanted to make sure I wouldnt be wearing something that might cause me problems when regaining mana..
