Darken,
Lynk is dead on. There are already a ton of threads on these questions... Especially in the warrior forum. Go check those out.
Since your in the spellcaster forum, the way I raise necro is I start my char in a mage-like manner before I ever start warrior skill training. Recommend beginning with 49 necro and doing the necro new player quest to get the full spellbook. I put on a high mana regen suit with 2/6 FC/FCR, 40 LMC and 100 LRC. I let my med and focus raise to 100 each as I train and my int to 100. As an elf that gives you 120 mana before bonuses from your suit. I use a dark wisp when able and lich form (be sure to have about +3 HPR to counter the life loss of lich forn). For skill gain, I cast horrific beast, wither, and lich form all the way from 49 to 100. When I am done, I use the same setup to train bushido to 70 and chiv to your max. Only then do I start to make the char start to look like a warrior. I adjust skills (it's quick to add dex and drop int with focus at 100) and then I soulstone off the unnecessary stuff. Anyway that is my "spellcaster" technique to start my Sampires and Wammys.
Now run over to the Warrior forum and start reading up. There are a billion sampire tips there covering training, suits, weapons, and even what to go kill as you learn to master your character.
