[Mysticism] Question about PvP Gargoyle

good evening. would not you could to help me by advice? I think to do Mystic with this Template:

110/20/125

Focus - 120
Parrying - 120
Resisting Spells - 120
Wrestling - 120
Mysticism - 110
Tactics - 70
Meditation - 50

can you say in what this character it is possible to dress, that to feel good in pvp? (if possible, factious things)

p.s. if possible, post skrins of yours Garguyles :)

p.p.s. sorry for my bad language :)

Can you explain what your intentions are?

are u trying to make a spell caster, a fighter, or some type of hybrid? i am asking as wrestling and tactics don't usually mix, also parry is not really effective with 20 dex

You do not need tactics to do wrestling special moves.

I feel that you need either magery or weapon skill to do enough damage.

There are many new artifacts available to gargoyles.

Decide whether you want to be a spellcaster or weapons. We can help after you post.

i think 70 tactics for disarm... or it not help in pvp? :sad2:

if 20 dex is small for parrying, maybe need 75/80/100? +10 dex i can to get for faction crimson and +10 dex for imbued jewel (dci 30/+10dex/+14 str/fcr6/+20 skill bonus). with crimson and jewel stats it will be 99/80/110. its normal for pvp? in hands need new stygian spellbook with +10 mysticism.

need some magery for protection or in pvp is not utillized?

what bonus gives wrestling?

why some mages use in template bushido and inscription?

and what artis and shield is it better to dress?

thx...

inscription gives a 10% sdi bonus at GM(personaly never thought it very useful). as for bushido don't see many mages use now(was changed to require weap skill and tactics,i believe),though could still use as a hybrid but would be a very tight template skill point wise.

wrestling gives same attack and defend chances as weapons skill, but you dont need tactics to do special moves with wrestling

as for which arties and shields would be best ,that would depend on your final template and personal playstyle

I will state this kindly as I can. Your current template is no more effective in PvP than a crafter.

With Mysticism you can go 2 routes. The Spellcaster route or a hybrid dexer route.

Basic Spell Caster Template

120 Myst
120 Focus
120 Magery
120 Eval
120 Resist

120 Points left over. 60/60 Necro/SS, 100 Scribe, 120 Wrestle, 120 Anat, 120 med, 120 Spellweaving

Necro/Myst

120 Myst
120 Focus
120 Resist
120 Spirit Speak
105-120 Necro
120 Magery

Dex/Archer Basic Style

120 Myst
120 Focus
120 Weapon Skill
90-120 Tactics

240-270 Points left for various skills (Note that Mysticism has cleansing winds and healing stone which gives a bit of elbow room)

myst has 1st, 3rd, 6th circle nukes which i tested to be equivalent in dmg (or a pt or two lower) than their magery counterparts on tc a month ago. with the exception of 'spell trigger' there aren't too many combos to be had with mysticism only spells.

mysticism does have some great things as a 2nd skill for pvp though, cleansing winds, healing stone, sleep, spell trigger, etc.. i dont think it packs enough punch alone. if you only had myst for dmg you would probably want to group.

with no eval, your curse, bless, fields, etc will not last long.

my mana will be closed before, than I will put to death someone... and with this template need fast sword (spell changeling, mage weapon, dci) and shield (dci, spell changeling)?

p.s. i think find this arties for my gargoyle:

faction Crimson Cincture and Folded Steel Reading Glasses, Obsidian Earrings (http://www.uoguide.com/Obsidian_Earrings) and Summoner's Kilt (http://www.uoguide.com/Summoner's_Kilt). in jewel (2 fc, 6 fcr, 10 dex, 30 dci, some str or resist); in chest, arms and necklace (hp increase, mana increase, mr 2, lrc, lmk). its normal?

p.p.s. if you use the boomerang with a shield and parry, penalties will be great?
