Question about plants

Will they grow if locked down in a chest? Mine are and don't seem to be growing. THX

No they wont. They will not grow in secures. Put them in your backpack or lock them down in your house.
(I am assuming your chest is secure.)

The good thing about them not growing in a chest in your house for example is once they are grown, you can keep one with 8 seeds on it in your house and then take the seeds out later. Of course, seeds do stack now :), but it used to be a cool way to reduce seed lock downs.

No they wont. They will not grow in secures. Put them in your backpack or lock them down in your house.
(I am assuming your chest is secure.)
They will also grow in your bank box or in a blue beetle you log out on.

Its a good way to store (in a secure chest) them if you are going away for a long weekend. When you get back you just take them out and they start growing again.

also secured containers are great storing father plants for future crossing
