I really just have a question. I have a habit of making a speech when one sentence will do just fine. If you don't want to be bothered with my ravings than please just skip to the bottom and answer the part in red! Thanks folks
I consider myself a newbie right now because even though I played from 97 to 2000 & something, the game has changed so much that I don't know hardly squat. This question I have just proves this assumption to be true.
Did they change how one can give a murder count? Now, I fully admit that this is a lame tactic and I shouldn't really do it if I want to be a honorable player but my theory was if there's going to be lame blue pk's with dragons trying to murder me than I'm going to give them a count even if they don't succeed. Anyways, I was attacked, made my getaway and recalled to town. I know I never healed up to 100% (Used to be if one healed all the way up to full, than you couldn't count someone unless they did more damage to you) and promptly offed myself at the healers (Lame. Yes, I know
) but to my shock, I wasn't given the option to count this peaceful and lovable fellow whose cute little pet mistakenly nudged me a bit hard inside of shame..
Like I already said, used to be as long as you didn't heal up to 100% and it was within a certain time-frame than you could give the attacker a count. Now it seems that there's added stipulations to this part of the game. Truthfully, if it was changed, I think it's for the best. When I was an active pvp'r, I despised the person who would do exactly what I attempted to do tonight. heh.
So, how's it work? If one recalls does that take away the counting option? or maybe crossing server lines? Does it still matter that one does not heal up to max?
Really, it's not that important, but I prefer to know how such systems work. Thank you all very much and have a wonderful Halloween! DAMN PAGANS!!!
