Question about insurance and dying twice

Your have to forgive me as only just got back into UO after about a 3 year break!

Anyway was in "Wrong dungeon" and died. I then went to healer, got resurrected and went back again to wrong in search of my body, then died on the way in!

I have just moved from Europa shard to Asuka as now playing from Thailand. My stuff was insured but I want to know if the insurance carries over if you move shards?

Also as I died twice and didn't find the 1st body, then died again, is this why I had no items in the corpse?

Bit of a bummer as lost my sword and 70 set

as far as I know insurance isn't affected by shard transfer. The only thing I can think of is you didn't have auto-renew set.
Did you have your armor/weapon when you resurrected the first time? In your back pack?

Nothing apart from blessed items.

it would appear your items were not insured I'm afraid Asuka is not a shard I can offer any help on.

Yeah I think so
I'm coming back to Europa as the language barrier is a massive problem.
Just moved to Asuka as thought better connection from Thailand.

I died twice and didn't find the 1st body,

where you died the first time is probably where all your stuff went, even insured, if you're looted before you get back, it'll be on what robbed ya.
and killing spawn in a nasty dungeon can be a pain. undead loot in a heart beat, espec a lich or ratman, every time it walks or moves by the corpse

I decided to write it off! Now on the market for new armour if anyone can help. I'm on Europa shard.
