My question is specifically about the pumpkin helm. Does it take on the armor property of the original item? IE If I start with Mace And Shield Helm from Blackthorn does the pumpkin helm take on the Platemail non-med property? Wanting to know if it gives the LMC bonus for plate. Thanks!

Must be mendable for mendable they must match types

Yes it is. You can turn a non medable into mage armor if possible and use it. But you can not remove mage armor after you do that.

Don't forget the LMC bonus is only for 5 pieces so you can have something that is non-med as well.

"Publish 81 introduced Armor Inherent Lower Mana Cost. Each piece of non-medable armor will provide LMC with the exception of woodland armor. Each piece of armor (up to five pieces) will provide a small percentage of LMC, which is not subject to the item property LMC cap of 40% and is neither shown on the item itself."

Not if you want to actually use the meditation skill.

But in the OP case they are a warrior so they want to use focus and medable armor will not allow full regen.
