Question about GameTime codes

Wasn't sure where to put this, and this seemed like the most logical of the choices.

I am in need of a gametime code but have no e-means to get it.

STORY:
My wife and I bank with Wamu. Anyone who's followed any fleck of news knows that Wamu was bought out by Chase. Chase is in the process of converting Wamu accounts into Chase accounts. Due to Wamu customers not activating their new/updated Chase cards, Chase has decided to blanket cancel the old Wamu ones. Well, we never received our damn Chase cards, and that's why I hadn't activated it.

We are in the process of dealing with Chase to correct this situation. As you can imagine, the loss of my only major form of payment has impacted just about every facet of our life and bill payment setup. Very lame. Very VERY lame.

In the meantime, my UO account is now blocked because it was linked to a card that no longer exists. I do not have my replacement yet to correct/update my account information. I can not go to the EA UO store and buy a timecode or whatever it's called because I do not have a CC to do so with.

Is it possible to get a gametime code via a store? In order to access my funds I litterally have to go into a bank and withdraw cash. At least until the new card arrives. Even if I need gas for the '73 Chevy. Srsly. It's a major inconvienence. However, I would LOVE to get cash and purchase a gametime code so my account stays active while I resolve this massive financial headache.

Any ideas? (Besides closing my Chase account, telling them where they can stick it, take my funds to another bank and get issued one of their cards ASAP).

I don't think codes are sold in stores anymore. The last time I mentioned UO in a Gamestop the kid working there had never even heard of it. (I know, I about slapped him)

What you could do is hit your local walmart. They sell some sort of pre-paid visa card that you can use anywhere visa is accepted. I'd say get one of those, drop a hundred on it, reactivate your account and let it eat off that card until you get the other deal fixed.

I do this just for my UO accounts. And I have a separate one for my online purchases.

It's perfect, like any other bank service, really. You don't have to worry about non-refundable balances as any money in there is yours and you can request a refund should you decide to close the account. Further, you can either check online for your balance or speak with a live customer service rep any time there is a question about your transactions and get it resolved almost instantly (except Sundays, as the bank is closed then). There is a small monthly fee but it's nothing compared to the security and services these cards provide.

Thanks everyone! I'll look into those options! I appreciate the feedback!
