question about exiting Ter Mur

Went there this morning. Put on 40 magery, crystalline ring, used a scroll to gate there. Looked around a bit, then tried to gate home.
Every time I tried, I'd get the message "that didn't work" or some such. In city, and out. A friend finally cam to my rescue. As soon as we arrived through her gate, I tried to scroll a gate again, and it worked.

Anyone else have any issues such as this? What am I missing here?

It seems that you can only gate from and to Fel runes...

Actually, I was not able to gate from Ter Mur to Felucca. I was able to gate from Ter Mur to Malas, and then to Felucca.

So I think you can't gate from Ter Mur to Felucca. But you can gate from Felucca to Ter Mur.

I've been able to only gate to certain spots in Fellucia and Malas...its weird. I can gate to Ice Island and Umbra....that's all I've tried

So I think you can't gate from Ter Mur to Felucca. But you can gate from Felucca to Ter Mur.

And I cannot gate to anywhere but Felucca. All of my Malas runes say "?????" in the coordinates spot of the runebook.

That was where I was attempint to gate to- Makoto. Sounds like they have something jimped here.

Same here - all my chars are elves, and can only gate TO Felucca. (Haven't tried Luna directly - not fond of the place, but I can't gate to other Malas places)

Is that confirmed? I was wondering if the people who are having trouble maybe marked their runes while standing inside their houses, or standing outside the house. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Also, as Saint Dismas stated, his runes are marked to ???? inside his runebook.

I don't think it's as simple as race of the player.

I can gate to Jhelom, but I can't gate to my brit house.

There's definitely something wonky, but at least you can get out typically if you have a city rune.

What kind of runes are the failures on?

House runes named by the system?
General runes named by the marker?

I think that might be the difference.

I'll make a poll, it will be easier to track the answers, and if we can track the reason for the failure we have a better chance of getting it fixed.

I can't gate to Skara Brae (Fel) and to Luna, it do not matter if it is house runes or not
