Question about eaters hitting max stored charges.

Damage Eater properties have a capacity to store up to 20 healing charges and convert charges every three seconds from the last time damage was received before they stop converting damage
Does this mean that each eater stores up to 20 charges? For example, if I have 15 Damage Eater and 12 Fire Eater, then damage eater hits 20 stored charges and I take fire damage. Will fire damage eater kick in and start storing charges?

Well what i cant remember is say you have 15% Damage eater all and 15% fire eater also... When you take 40 points of fire dmg do you get healed 6 points 2 times? I *think* i recall damage eaters simply apply the higest eater percentage thats valid... So 15% Dmg E All coupled with 30% Fire eater would only save you 30% dmg vs FIRE dmg and NOT the extra 15% Dmg E All... or at least thats how i remember it. Going to test unless someone knows for sure.....

I thought it took the highest of the two and wasn't cumulative, like Vexxed says.
