question about EA downloads and SA

so I went poking around the EA store page and found this..... we just patch tomorrow, right? won't have to do any of this part of it.... is this what new customers will need to get?

Normally purchases fron the EAstore are digital distributions of games.
It's possible that buying it will open up the option to download UO through the EADM, but the code will be sent by email
