[Blacksmithing] Question about Ancient Hammers.

I know a charge gets used even if you are using tongs to make an item if it is equipped.

My two questions are this.

1. Does a charge get used when enhancing an item?
2. Does an ancient hammer make a difference with failures of enhancing?

Is there any kind of ancient hammer type for fletching, carpentry or tailoring?

Specifically, there is a +1% chance per 10 points of skill over GM, to your chance of successful enhancement.

So a 120 Smith has a +2% bonus, which becomes +8% if holding and using the ASH +60.

Just to add to this as a reminder before enhancing...So use your best regular talisman bonus with the 120 and +60 smithy will give the most chance. If you don't have a good one then get one from the heartwood root quests. You will still fail though.
