Quest for rubble?

I am returning to UO and have found a lot is different.

Apparently Magincia was blown up by blackrock and now is infected by ghosts.

You can do quests to receive rubble. I have complete a quest for threads of fate and for life, but now the only quest he is offering is for thought. I cannot get the quest of fate or life to be offered. Is it just 1 quest chance per character?

I do know that these same thread are used for the cloak of corruption quests too.

Yes, each Rubble quest is once per character.

Farm those threads and give them to your other characters and have them do the quest once each.

If the character is a crafter or can't defend themselves you can take the public gate to magincia and stand there hidden and do the quests. You can't take the gate *from* magincia though, so you'll need to be able to recall out.

If you don't have any character that can kill the corrupted souls with direct damage (no pet, no summon) because for example the last character who could just finished the quest, you can take the quest for the Cloak of Death at Serpent's Hold which requires Threads of Fate. Then the corrupted souls will drop the Threads of Fate again.
