The Queen has never given favor to any one side of the recent conflicts. Why should she? From the get go it was obvious that the Bane were favored in the conflict with the Ophidians. Without other orders, the population chose the path of least resistance, leading to the slaughter of the Ophidians. Even with the peace treaty with with them, the queen said nothing.
Huge rewards were offered, all the Bane wanted was Crystalline Blackrock
So we fought, slaughtering the Ophidians for the chance to receive a rare artifact.
Flash forward, A mysterious crystal artifact is brought to the queen. It is left out for public display, its importance great, it was "guarded". Days later BLACKROCK Powered adversaries assaulted Britain. The royal guard was summoned, by the queens order, leaving the Crystal Artifact unguarded. The enemy destroyed, the guard returned to find the Artifact had been stolen by unknown assailants. The attack had been a diversion.
Flash forward again. The Bane chosen are again asking for assistance from the population to kill there next target, the Meer. The Meer have been allies of ours for a long time , what reason do we have to kill them? The Bane need power crystals, a resource that the Meer are rich in. Again, rewards are offered. A smaller group slaughter the innocent Meer, all in the hope of more rewards
It won`t be long before our once ally will end our peaceful relations, all because of peoples shortsighted desire for more(pixel crack).
Flash forward to today. Blackrock Golems have invaded Magincia. No explanation is given to whom built these creatures and how they got there.
The answer to me is obvious, the Bane Chosen. Why else would they need these unusual ingredients? Ask any tinkerer, they will tell you that a Power Crystal is the key to making any golem function. Combine with the power of Blackrock you have near unstoppable creature. A soulless, brutal killing machine that will stand its ground with no thought to its own mortality. Again, the queen says nothing.
Why did the queen not have Magincia rebuilt after the war? She had other plans. She knew once the shadowlords had been defeated, no one could then challenge her controllers, the bane chosen.
It is my thinking that Dawn instigated the war with the Shadow Lords. With a goal to allow magincia to be destroyed, she hatched a plan. A plan that would make her kind the rulers of all we know. Who among us can even tell how she came to be crowned? Who replaced the royal council? Why the hell is it so hard to get enough saltpeter?
And where does that leave us now? Alone, weak, and in the dark. Who will fight with us now? We have commited Genocide against the Meer and the Ophidians. The Gargoyle queen will never side with us, as we are nothing but backstabbers. The bane now control the Crystal Artifact, giving them unthinkable power.
Dawn must be stopped before it is too late.
The fools(sorry to say it, but all you RPers) who blindly follow Dawns every word must take notice.
The sheep must awake, for there are wolves about.
