Increase of spell damage increase cap from 15% to 30% (Reduced from TC 40%)for templates that focus in only one spell school. Focused players, having no more than 30.0 modified skill points in another main skill set will be able to benefit from the raised cap.Main skills include: Magery, Necromancy, Mysticism, Ninjitsu, Bushido, Animal Taming, Musicianship, Chivary, Spellweaving. Secondary skills also count towards focus spec such as: Focus, Spirit Speak, Imbuing, and Evaluate Intelligence.

Is this *really* saying that secondary skills count towards the 30.0 skill point limit (in a second spell school) before the benefit the increased 30 sdi cap is lost? Surely not - I must be missing something.

No the secondary skills listed are all complementary skills which increase spell damage. Just means they add spell damage I think.

You can only have 1 skill set. So yes it is saying that having a secondary skill in another set would reduce your SDI cap in PvP. This is a cap decrease and not a negative SDI applied.

If you read the whole thing it would have made sense, if you have magery+Eval that is one skill set and you may benefit from the new 30 sdi cap. If you add Spirit Speak to your template you do not benefit from the new 30 sdi cap and your sdi will be 15 (as it always has been)

The skill sets are

Necro+SS
Magery+Eval
Mystic+Focus(or imbuing)
Spellweaving

So those combinations benefit from the new 30 SDi cap, and adding any of the skills above with any of the other skills other than the combinations I just posted would remove that benefit.
