Has anyone here made a PVP focused pet? I've been thinking about trying it despite the pvp pet nerf. Wondering what animals and abilities might work well.

Was thinking maybe a lesser hiryu since they spawn with dismount and over capped wrestling, then add mortal strike and either battle defense or wrestling mastery (for disarm and paralyze). That is not something I'd want to fight against. I keep my pets blessed constantly so with 150 dex base should be able to get close to 180 dex with bless for movement speed.

sounds not bad, but i think you need a little bid more range. Especially Necromage , necromancy, magery, mysticism gives you support. And sometimes, if the opponent manages to flee, you will be happy about the range and the casting speed of pet casted flame strikes.

Taming,lore 110, magery, eval,resist, bushido,parry120, gm poison.

Fit that all in and youll be good to go.
Should be easy with jewels.

Pet should corpse skin, pain spike and explode flamestrike for you while you paralyze and poison. Maybe toss on a spell channeling bow to get em when they run.
