PvP in general and queing targets

Hi all, I was just looking for some players opinion on pvp tips and tricks (primarily for a mage).

I never used the queing self and last target on uoa before, i tried it out though and was wondering what all i should know about it. Obviously you have to look out not to cast harmful spells on yourself, i also found that if someone runs off screen then they will be out of range when it tries to go off making you cast again. Anything i should be doing with this, like i have myself clearing the queue a lot but dont have a 3 button mouse so its difficult, was just wondering how others handle that feature as i see most of the best pvpers out there use it so i see it vital for me to use.

Really any general tips that i can use would be appreciated, i am a returning player and want to stick around and not get discouraged with playing bad. Thanks for any help!

When you say no 3 button mouse, does it have a scroll wheel?

Coz some of the older mice still have a scroll wheel even if the scroll whell cannot be used as a 3rd button.

You can use the scroll wheel for target last and target self (requires either UOA or the Enhanced Client).

If you enable "queue target" from UOA, have the scroll wheel set to target last and erase target queue instead.

Takes a bit of getting used to if you have not done it before though.

Hey, yeah i have the wheel and have usually used the wheel up as self and the wheel down as last. If i switch it to last and erase what should i do about about target self?
