PvP: Human vs. Elf

Which is more preferred by PvPrs?

Elf has +20 mana and +5 Energy resist, plus Night Sight.

Human gets JoaT so free +20 Meditation, +20 Focus, +20 Magic resist, +20 Parrying, etc. Unless your skill is already higher than 20.
Human can carry more but does that affect PvP really?

Is there anything else? It seems that the +20 mana for elves would be a huge benefit?

Yes, potions are heavy and you need to chug chug chug so the more you have the longer you live.

Elves have a bonus to passive detect on production shards. I don't know if it's all that valuable in PvP but it makes it a tiny bit harder for me to do what I do.

JOAT is a joke. Human is useful as a resource collector that’s about it. I would have rather seen strong back give 10 str. They should replace JOAT with a free 10% base weapon damage.

To answer your question, if you use mana elf is always better. If you dont, yay, you get to have a beard!

Humans get beards yes,
They also get overcapped HPR to 20
More carrying weight
Joat which gives you 20 spellweaving for easier buffing, human hides, tracking (which otherwise you would not be able to without any skill), you can detect hidden players..
