Don't forget however, that some pvpers deliberately plan for their pvp suit to have 70 DCI, in order to be immune to Hit Lower Defence. This is akin to why some pvpers have 85 Fire resist, in order to be immune to Corpse Skin.

Oh and you can equip more HCI/DCI over the cap to negate the effects of HLA/HLD too.
