Tonight there will be a Pure Mage tournament (7/14/13) on the Test Center shard at 9pm EST at the Ocllo Arena. The winner will win 100 million gold. There will be limitations on gear and abilities:
1. It's a *pure mage* tournament. Only magery spells are allowed. Nox is not pure mage. No poisoning.
2. No consumables. Potions, petals, apples, healstone/spell trigger, nothing like that is allowed at all. Packs will be snooped.
3. No Casting Focus. Not even 1. Scribe will not be permitted either.
4. Suits are also limited to non eaters and 9 HPR.
5. No refined armor. I don't anticipate anyone showing up with it, but you never know.
6. Respect the other contestants and their duels. People who begin fights outside of the brackets will be eliminated from the tournament and not welcomed back to future tournaments, ever.
7. No Pets, no weapons, no wrestling, or the use of -ANYTHING- other than magery spells.
8. No spell consumption. I don't know wtf it is, but none of it lol.
If not mentioned here, there is no limit to what you have on the suit. You can have 30 sdi, 40 LMC, 25hpi, or however much MR you want. This tournament is strictly about spell-play. Twilight Lanterns will be given out. Bring your own suits. If you absolutely cannot, if there is no way in hell you could get your hands on a 9 HPR capped, 0CF, 0eater dueling suit, one may be provided to you. This is not guaranteed however. It's on Test Center, and transfers there are back up, so everyone SHOULD be able to get their hands on one. Either way, gear is no excuse for not showing up. You may want to show up on a blue, non-faction char, just in case we have any bad apples in the bunch. If you do not know how to get to Ocllo, ask people for a gate or find a crystal teleporter and say "Fel Ocllo mint." Then follow the road down past old haven to the south west. I will also be gating to moongates from there when it begins, as well as placing runes around the luna and fel gates. Ask in the general chat for a gate. Here's an opportunity for all of you to either indulge your ego's, or simply have some fun dueling. Either way, I suspect we will have a good time

Also, if for whatever reason I don't have enough suits for everyone who needs one, people can share suits (guildies, friends, etc). I should only have about 6-8 or so, so some people NEED to bring their own. If you have a friend who has, make them transfer multiple chars so that you can use one of their suits. Don't be lazy, we all want this to go well. It's going to take a little bit of some collective effort. But once it's done, it's done. You will have a suit for future fights as well.
