Punkbuster?

Somebody please enlighten me as to why UO was trying to moniter ventrilo this morning. First time I have gotten this message I believe. I may just be clueless as to what its actually saying. Anyone make sense of it? Sounds alot like a punkbuster.

That message does not say anything about Punkbuster

are you trying to connect to a ventrilo server that has the same port number as UO patcher?

If I remember correctly, PB was a secondary (optional install) for games that is supports. So I don't think EA could just slip it in there with no one noticing.

Im not saying it IS punkbuster, I am saying that it looks like a UO related process is trying to "moniter" a 3rd party program.

Doubtful that it was actually monitoring anything at all. Read Amren's post again and check out that link. Probably a weird thing going on between autopatch and vent with their ports.
