Will ea ever let uo put punk buster into play? It would put everyone back on the same page like a fresh start for pvp sort like it was before anyone used a 3rd party program.

I so wish it would happen, but it not going to happen. I remember
when it was announced as an idea, and probability. When it was
announced there was probabally a30% decline in the UO population.
Just afterthe population fell like it did they snatched the idea away.
I think they have realized that they have let the game go too far to
regain control.

its been a downward spiral for the last 3 or 4 years. ea just wants to ride it out and making as much cash as they can untill its over.

I personally think having this on uo will be a great thing. of course there would be a decline of all the cheaters but this will also bring back a lot of legit players who quit because of all the cheating. but on a side note, why would you pay the 13 dollars a month to play a game and all you do is cheat and hack it to make it no fun for anyone else? :/

Nah, legit players have moved onto other games. UO, though it's the only game I play or will play, is not a game that will come back with a driving force. The ones that quit and come back are usually pvp'ers (usually, but not always) and hacks are not going to keep or make them stay. As said above, We and EA are just riding it out until it's time to pull the plug. Could be a couple years from now, or could be next year... either way - there's no point. Just enjoy the game for what it is
