I fail to see the point of this thread. One guy says: I failed to make a trade, the next guy says: if you had succeeded in trading you might have been screwed.
Use the mechanisms UO offers you to protect your trades.
Puffy is a valued member of our society. Some have let their guard down and lost some stuff to him, I can only say that it has always added to the entertainment value of the shard.

I am not sure what you are saying, sorry...
It seems though that you agree that a warning concerning Puffy is a positive thing, and I cannot agree with that.
My advice is to check about every possible trade what the risks are and how safe it can be done. Use the game mechanics to your advantage. I have traded with Puffy and have never felt betrayed.

I beg to differ sir....
Puffy sold me a keep and even lowered the price 500k lower than what we had agreed upon when I went to buy
I was wary to say the least when dealing with him because of what I had read here...but he was as friendly and as helpfull as could be be : )

Ive lent puffy my inquis gloves before, the same ones i paid 30 mill for (equivalent of $150) and got them back no problem at all, why would people keep saying such horrid things about Puffy , who as someone just said, is a valued member of the SP society?
