I've actually seen an increase in the quality of loot in shame. At least in the eternal gazers area. Then again maybe it's my imagination.
In what way? It does not seem to be bad from what I have seen.
Before the last patch you could get items over 5 mods pretty easily, cursed, cannot be repaired, -100 etc, but they showed up. After the last patch it's rare to get any item over 5 mods cursed or uncursed. The loot between a UEV and a regular blood is about the same other than quantity.
This much is true, loot on the higher end mobs has been significantly reduced in quality.
What did change for the "good" is relic fragments are more common from the lower to mid level mob's loot.
Yep I actually got an item from a mud pie that could be unravelled into a relic so that fix worked but adversly effected the higher level creatures. I hope they fix it soon I really enjoyed seeing the high end stuff pop up on an a high level creature even if most of it was not usable.
