Here's hoping the statement "new prey" = new pets!

Probably not, probably more lame animals added to his already lame list. Does anyone even do his quest?

yup I have all the animals hanging in my house they make great decorative trophies. the rewards as of now are a lil lack luster but hopefully this publish fixes that

I've been watching publish notes like a hawk for taming updates. I really want the ability to remove pet abilities.

I get all the trophies. Most months I do all the Dinos and let others have the rest.

On our server our guild holds mostly monthly Huntmaster challenges where we pick an animal (and a location for bonus points). Give away gold and prizes for the best one. And even animals we don't pick, there is often competition for the best ones

I am afraid to wish for taming updates. To me it seems like they make at least as many steps in the wrong direction as in the right one (I am being generous here).

I hope I’m wrong on this, but I doubt they will add any kind of option or way to remove an ability, like dragon breath.
I’d like to remove it for my mares but my thinking that is something that is buried in very old code, which makes it extremely difficult to change.

Bleak said so in a post on official forums. When asked about it at the Pacific meet and greet he said it was still in the planning stages with no eta on when/if.

My guess and the easiest fix would be for it to be replaced instead of outright removed. Like how magical abilities can overwrite each other.

As much as I love my dragonkin, it does hinder their true potential. In case of the replace scenerio, I am leaving my dragon breathers with 200ish unspent points.

I’m glad to hear that is an “in the works” idea. I think I’ll hold off on training my void mare for the time being and wait for this
