PSA: Resists ... you can have more than 45 energy resist

Dear Tamers of Atlantic,

Energy resist isn't capped at 45. However if you go down the resist list training everything to max 80, you will end up with 45 energy resists. That is because there is a max of 365 resist points.

You are ending up with 80/80/80/80/45

When you can have something like: 80/75/70/70/70 or, 70/70/70/70/70, or 80/80/80/45/80.

Energy is an important resist, especially if said pet does the roof. Your pet does not need to live a life with only 45 energy resist.

Today, I saw a beautiful perfectly stat'd legacy white wyrm (highest str i have seen and only 80 cold resist, and I have seen/own a lot of legacy white wyrms) with the 80/80/80/80/45 resists template I've seen commonly around the Atlantic Stables. He was also only given 125 stam but 900+ health. I weeped. It was aweful. I have only seen one other white wyrm so perfect.

I've asked another tamer why he gave his 45 energy and he said "because it's the cap". Atlantic seems to need some education amongst the tamers there before any other beautiful pets are gimped.

Oh, I have a couple more PSA I wanted to post, just been very busy the past week, so only short snips here and there. But today when I saw that wyrm while idling.. that wyrm was untrained just a day or two ago. I always saw it and admired it. I had to speak out to try to save more animals from the same fate.

I hope someday they give us a way to kinda reset our pets.

Personally I prefer 75/80/70/70/70... if I can get it... if I skimp on something I'd prefer it to be cold or poisoning... not Energy.

Good they reading my posts. There is also no reason to build up cold on other pets. If you fight a cold damager. Take a Cu with 85 cold resist.

Match the pet with the targets.
