Where can I get a prospecting tool?

I havnt played since 1999 and have a GM miner + GM Blacksmith.

Are these even craftworthy skills any longer?

Plus, you might want to start looking into the BOD system, to try to get the BODs for a powerscroll that will allow you to train Blacksmith skill higher (as high as 120) after the scroll is used.
