Problems with resists, and questions about protection...

I seem to be stuck with -15 physical resist. I turn off protection, reactive armor, and magic reflect, and it still is -15. I put on the all 70's Sorcerer's Suit and my physical resist is only 55 (without protection or magic reflect).

I don't know why... can this be a bug?

Naked I'm -15/0/0/0/0

Also, when I die or log in/out, I have to recast protection and reactive armor. Is this new or also a bug?

BUGGED... at least the resist is. It will most likely take a GM to reset your resist. He will ask you to strip nekked and dismount and it will be a quick fix. Make sure you are not under any other buff - vamp form, protection, reactive armor, etc. It won't hurt to cast each just in case. Then you have to be specific in your GM page, that your resist is a -15 physical with no buffs cast and wearing no armor or other items.

Again, make sure you have no buffs cast before paging a GM.

The second question: When you die, you will have to recast protection and reactive armor. That is intentional and put into a couple patches ago. I still have a heck of a time remembering to cast those after a death.

JUST went through this. Waited 3 hours last night and about 90 minutes this morning to fix it.

Make sure you describe your problem VERY well. I put "-16 physical resist with no spell effects".

When GM showed up, he asked again whether I have tried dying and whether any spells were in effect. A tingle latter and it was fixed
