Problems with House Placement

Okay, a friend of mine placed a new house today, and we went to resize it, using the resize option.

He relogged because he was still seeing a part of the other house he'd just dropped, and now it's saying he's placed or received a house within the last seven days and won't let him replace the house at all.

Hmm.. I thought if you placed a house you would have to wait seven days before you could resize it cause if not you couldnt place in the spot til timer ran out. If thats not the case then does/did you friend own another house on that shard or any other shard before placing the new home? If thats the case and they didnt drop that house before placing the new one that might be why you cant place there now. Use to be able as long as you didnt own a house on any shards be able to place and drop without waiting unless you recently traded a house. Maybe the changed it.

Seems when he closed the client he somehow took that as demo'ing the house.

Did you page a GM or send in an issue report to EA? They probably won't be able to assist you however because there is no way to prove you didn't place and drop the house on purpose.
