Problem with House Teleporter

I have not changed my house in several months. Yesterday when I logged in one of my teleporters stopped working. It is like the tile is blocked. It won't let any of my chars step onto it. I have checked and even tried resetting the access of to teleport (to and from ones). I used transparancy to verify the upper teleporter was not blocked. I wanted until the server reset to see if the issue would go away, but still I cannot access the one floor of my house.

Has anyone experienced this before and have any idea how to correct the problem? Many thanks

try changing your house foundation (you can later change it back) that sometimes works for this problem ~~ good luck!

After you change the foundation, if you have any teleporters set to specific access make sure you set them again, because changing the foundation resets them to Anyone access.

I was once told that this problem crops up after a character dies on the teleporter pad, but I've never experimented with it to confirm this.
