Problem with blacksmithing and lajatangs dropping out of backpack.

I've found that these Samurai Empire expansion Lajatings are very good for skill gains for my blacksmith I'm building to Legendary skill.

However, there is a problem: These items will drop out of my backpack on creation if it would exceed my character's maximum carrying capacity (he's human), and wind up at my feet instead of telling me "my backpack can't hold anything else" and not creating the item.

Could EA/Mythic please look into fixing both the skills/items which would drop out of a player's backpack on creation because they're too heavy to fit in the backpack and the backpack contains less than 125 items in it?

I recall that a similar error was fixed in a different publish. It's amazing that the Samurai Empire items slipped through somehow.

Edit: I'm using the classic client, not the Enhanced Client. Does anyone know if doing skill gains in the EC has the same problem with items dropping out if your character's maximum capacity is exceeded?

Also, does anyone know if EC macros will stop automatically if your character becomes overweight with items?

its done this for as long as i can remember, it does suck tho specially if you are making these items in the salvage bag to save resources..

If you have UOA you can just make a macro to make the max number you can without dropping them, then use your salvage bag (would probably need to do that by hand though). Or just set the "make number" button to like 20 or whatever instead of hitting make max on the crafting menu.

I think I just found out what the problem is - an EA/Mythic Dev could fix this, but it would require they look into changing how backpack weight limits work and affect item creation:

Lajatangs weigh 12 stones each, the blacksmithing process is dropping them on the ground if they would exceed the salvage bag's weight limit of 400 stones. Because the ingots have to be in the salvage bag as well as the lajatangs, once this limit is reached, the blacksmithing process is dropping the items on the ground instead of either putting them into my character's backpack or giving me an error message.

Check out the new throwing weapons for low success chance for gain. Even as a legend there is a fail chance unless using an ASH and Tally.
