I got in shortly after posting this, so maybe it's just a temp glitch. On a side note, I checked out The Gamers: Dorkness falling a few nights ago on Netflix and laughed through the whole thing. They were spot on, I thought they were making fun of my old campaigns. I guess we all played the same. 
I always expect login problems around 3PM UK time, it regularly has several minutes of very slow response times - and UK time, your posts are just after 3PM.
I'm sure there's a regular maintenance process running, or some sort of synchronisation. Would be nice to know for sure though.
