Prism of Light Teleporter Not Working?

I've tried and tried to get past the energy teleporter thing in the Prism but can't seem to get it to teleport me over the wall. Granted, this is the first time I've been down here, but I've followed the instructions on UOGuide and made my way through the maze to the other side but still no teleport. There's only one way to get across without either being sent to the start or getting hit for energy damage right? I'm at a loss as to what to do now.

You have to step on the flashing tile multiple times sometimes.


On a side note, how the **** can people solo Shimmering, I got ****ing murdered when I tried a while back.

Flashing tile? I'm beginning to think the instructions I was reading were incomplete (figures). Could you please explain?

That little lightning boltish thing on one tile of the area. I think that's what you're referring to anyway.

Hmmm... You're in the room with a square of strange tiles that do cold damage to you? If so there is a little lightning bolt deal on the ground. You have to run onto it from different angles. If you are going back to start try a different route to it. You can walk all the way around the outside of the weird tiles to enter them from the north, south, east, or west to begin going into the grid.

PS I only solo the keys, it takes 2 tamers to kill it, or 1 bard and 1 tamer.

I know several people that have solo'd it with their Sampires. I believe it's also been done by a Bard/Tamer using Provo.

Wow that's impressive since it does area damage, you can't bandie heal pets and with little to no med casting gheals almost constantly! It also hits really hard energy bolts from a distance. I'd like to watch someone do it. My guess is archer sampire.

Nope. Regular melee sampire. I may be wrong about the Bard/Tamer, but I do know for a fact that it's some type of bard template that's done it also.
