Price/Value Check on Some Items

I've recently returned to UO and am on Catskills. I have some older items and would love to know their value.

The last one.. the value will depend a lot on the name attached to it.

Many of the below may be worth more turning in for clean-up points than selling

Sash of Might 350k - 500k (Quest is still available last I checked)

The only 2 I would disagree on are:

I'd say closer to 300 - 500k; the point value on them makes them quite trashable.

Soulstone frags have been peaking lately. I can still buy them in the 1.8m to 2.6m range anywhere but Atl; 3m+ on Atl.

Thanks for the input! To clarify one, the fireworks wand is not the same as the one that every character starts with now (Mininova Fireworks Wand) but simply "A Fireworks Wand". Thought those were somewhat rare when I played ten years ago so if figured they'd go for more now.

BrianFreud: Thanks for the input! I'm a bit confused on your point about the candy canes. You value them much higher than Assia (300-500k compared to his 10-20k) but then call them trashable. When I think "trashable", I think "worthless". Could you clarify please?

You receive clean up points for trashing stuff now. Some items such as the older holiday stuff is worth a decent amount of cleanup points. The points can be redeemed for various items from some dude standing near brit bank. You can check how many points things are worth by clicking a trashcan, hitting the appraise option, then targetting the item.

@BrianFreud - It also matters if they are blessed or not... as the points differ last I checked. It's why I made a comment about some of them being worth more as points than the item itself. A few other items may be worth more as well. I probably should have clarified that better.

If you click on a trash can @Windarian for the menu, you get something that says "appraise for clean-up" - That will tell you how many points something is worth. When you throw something away now, you can get clean-up points for it. Many older items that aren't worth a lot for their stand along value, can be worth more as points. At West Brit, there is an NPC that says something like clean-up officer... he allows you to redeem points for other items. Sometimes if you look at the market via vendor search (click your character and get the menu, there is an in-game vendor search now), you can find items from the rewards list that are worth more if you toss the items and then selling the reward vs selling the items.

The fireworks wands still aren't worth a lot unfortunately.. however as I mentioned at the beginning of all those prices, they are worth some points. The only fireworks wand worth anything that comes to mind would be from 4th of July, but that had a date in it and slightly different wording along with a date. There are many more items now that make fireworks and are rechargeable as well as larger "booms".

*double checks* Well there are blessed candy canes and unblessed candy canes. Pretty sure they have different point values, but I could be wrong on them having different point values.

Alright, on Atlantic... I bought an unblessed red candy cane for 20k and a blessed green candy cane off a vendor for 25k

Both were worth 2500 pts each. A lily pad requires 5k points and has a market value of 50k.. I still think my vendor value is still acceptable at 10-20k.. might get a bit more for something from the points vs selling the candy cane straight.

Could there be another version of the candy cane that is worth more?

Gold for clean up is 100gps = 1 point. So for a 2500 point item like a candy cane, you'd have to sell it for 250,000 to get the same value for clean up as you would for donating gold.

There is a good list of points on uo guide that I reference whenever I'm trying to make something come out even or when I'm shopping. (I really wish points would carry across all of the characters on the shard instead of being character bound.) I generally won't put anything on my vendor for less than 100 x clean up point value. (And since I don't believe most of the things would be purchased for that value, I rarely actually put them on my vendor. I either stash them for decorating or donate them to the trash can.)

Oh, and the red valentine's day cards are worth 1600 points each. So pretty good clean up value there too.

The white/lt pink/pink/darker pink/darkest pink are only worth 900 points unless they say "valentine's day 2012" in which case they're worth 50 points.


The old blue fireworks wands came with 500 charges and are worth zero in the clean up britannia. The 10th anniversary wands on the other hand are worth 800 points. Mininova wands still spawn with new characters and are worth zero points.

It depends on what it is from... the old blue ones from christmas are worth nothing. I haven't seen an anniversary one worth 10k so.... take it with a grain of salt I guess? You can find out for sure by placing a trash barrel, securing it, and single clicking and choosing "appraise for cleanup".

There was a time at the start of cleanups when some fireworks wands were worth 10k points. Last time this table was modified was Nov 2015 and I think only new stuff was added, i'm pretty sure the items that were on that list from a long time ago have not been updated.

Ttake your wand and check the points. May be worth more as points than actual rare value. You can use a placed trash can or a bank trash can to get the value. I hope you have one of the ones you mentioned

Turned out to be zero points. :-( Oh well.

On another note, I just discovered that I'm wearing silver sandals. If I remember correctly, that was a big deal back in the day. Value?

Those were fun times. Unfortunately, no value unless they are are double blessed with a (blessed) tag. Sandals are dyeable now.

If they are double blessed, with (blessed) after the name and then blessed beneath that, the current market is 7-10m
