Price Check - Leather Dye Tub

Was wondering what these sell for and if one might be available for purchase. My tamer, who I seldom use, just hit 72 months and can claim something and that was what I was thinking of. I know I can get a soulstone but I don't see myself doing much with this guy down the road plus I already have an extra one.

I've bought 3 white ones recently...

First one was 250K bought at the bank after requesting a sale in general chat (2 days after they came out), other 2 were 100k (recent purchases bought off vendors).

Everyone got a ticket for a free choice.
Today they are cheap, if UO hangs on a few more years they definatly will go up in price, but seems everyone has one (or a few) today.

Plain vet rewards have dropped like stones in the recent years. I dont even know if asking 75k a year is too much now. 3 years ago vet reward were hitting 150k-200k a year, or a million or two if you chose the com deed box. Getting into the price of vet rewards for me is pointless as I always choose the SS (which makes a vet reward choice worth a miminum, "TOO ME", 2 million) because that MY going price for SS's and thats MY value for them.

I now have 34 soul stones and one account open. I find Soul Stone's the only current thing of value.

Average price on vet rewards is 100k per year. Rewards that are over 10 years can fetch prices higher then that in some cases. The dye tubs have dropped under the 100k per year thing due to the over abundance of them tho. so as for dye tubs it depends on the seller and buyer. Also my personal opinion is to not choose soulstones as a vet reward because you can get them thru other means. So therefore to me its a waste of a vet reward pick. If you want to make decent gold choose a newer reward that there arent many of on the shard. Like the corupted portal.

At 72 months.. I'd get the Metallic Dye Tub if you want something that would be worth about 2mil on Siege (my guess).

Appreciate the responses - I need to check out the alternatives suggested as I don't know what they do - a metallic dye tub sounds cool. I haven't even checked to understand if the soulstone that could be claimed might be transferrable to either one of my other guys which would be valuable. My tailor can also get a reward in a couple months. I know I can get the white dye tub now with a ticket that I have.

My objective now on Siege is really to have the little shop that I used to have. I have a Legendary tailor and am working the smith/imbuer daily. Selling some crafter oriented stuff, taking special orders, and having various dye tubs available to the public is what I enjoy.

West Moonglow Outfitters is an empty plot right now and will be located due west of the Moonglow City docks. You just teleport over the fence at waters edge and run west a few screens. Sea serpants, water elementals, and mongbats are nearby.
